THE PRESIDENCY
MY OP-ED ON MCCAIN / PALIN-Because of my attendance at the GOP Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, I don't have much "inside the Beltway" news to report. I do want to share my reflections with you on the results of the convention and why Gov. Sarah Palin being added to the ticket was so important to Senator McCain. A lengthy Op-ed that I wrote was published and best sums up my views. Read the Op-ed here.
THE PELOSI KIDS - San Francisco radical Nancy Pelosi is second in line for the presidency after VP Dick Cheney. As a result, her family, including her super wealthy husband and her five kids have Secret Service Protection. Do you know the names of her five kids and her husband? Have any of her kids had sex before marriage? Do you care? I don't. Although Pelosi is just two heart beats away from the presidency, there has been no public vetting of her family, yet the liberal media ravaged the family of Gov. Sarah Palin within hours of her being picked for the VP slot. This is a true double standard.
BIDEN'S SON- Speaking of presidential tickets, did you know that one of Joe Biden's sons has been sued for fraud over a hedge fund deal. A story did appear in the Washington Post, but was quickly forgotten. It appears that anything done by a child, spouse or brother of a liberal candidate is instantly dropped by the press. Another double standard.
THE CONGRESS
CONGRESS IN RECESS - The House and Senate resume regular business on the morning of September 9th, 2008.

CULTURE AND RELIGION
NEW CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - The all new August 21, 2008 Chairman's Report is now available to read in PDF format. This issue contains information on China's persecution of Christians during the Olympics, and election news from the perspective of social conservatives. It tells what has been happening in Congress during the recess, as well as other congressional and international news. Click here to view new issue.
INTERNATIONAL
PALIN ATTACKED ON ISRAEL - Liberal blog sites are running a photo of Gov. Sarah Palin sitting at her desk with a small flag of Israel visible on her credenza behind her. The liberal reaction: "This proves she is a religious nut". The reality is that liberals in America are becoming more and more anti-Semitic and they just can't seem to hide it any more.
DON'T FORGET IRAQI CHRISTIANS - Tens of thousands of Iraqi Christians are still refugees and still need our help. Donate today!
