THE PRESIDENCY
Bill and Nancy at Andrews AFB with Air Force One THE INAUGURATION - My wife Nancy and I watched the Inauguration of President Barack Hussein Obama on a giant screen TV in a rather cold hangar at Andrews Air Force Base. Directly outside the hangar sat Air Force One being readied for its last mission for President George W. Bush. After the swearing in ceremony, we watched on the screen as President and Mrs. Obama escorted President and Mrs. Bush to a waiting helicopter. We watched as it took off and a few minutes later it landed perhaps 50 yards from us. President and Mrs. Bush came into the hangar, as well as Vice President and Mrs. Cheney who had escorted them to Andrews. President Bush addressed our group saying that his mood was "joyful" as he departed to Texas. Shortly after his comments to us the President and Mrs. Bush boarded Air Force One for the last time.

THE ABORTION PRESIDENT - President Barack Obama was to waste no time in rewarding the abortion industry financially for their support during the election. Undoing the "Mexico City Policy" first ordered by President Ronald Reagan he readied an order to divert foreign assistance funds to groups that promote abortion. Read more.

CLINTON JOINS OBAMA - Hillary Clinton officially entered the Obama Administration, becoming Secretary of State. She was confirmed by the Senate in a 94-2 vote with all Republicans except two voting for her. I recommended to several key Republican Senators that they vote for her confirmation to keep the doors of communication open to her. Hillary Clinton could well do more for persecuted Christians in the Middle East than did Condoleezza Rice .... IF .... The huge contributions from rich Muslims to Bill Clinton's foundation do not influence her. Employees of the State Department were so glad to see Rice leave that they lined the inside of the main entrance to cheer Clinton. Watch this incredible video!

JAIL TIME FOR SPEECH - Where is the outrage from President Barack Obama? A member of the Parliament in the Netherlands has been charged and may serve jail time for being critical of Islam. Why is there no action? The ambassador from the Netherlands should be called into the Oval Office and firmly rebuked and the President should consider suspending diplomatic relations with any Western nation that would jail a member of its own government for freely speaking his mind. THE CONGRESS
Pledge Under God PLEASE ACT NOW - Congressman Todd Akin is once again preparing to introduce the Pledge Protection Act which would defend "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance to our nation's flag. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has sat on the atheist lawsuit to remove "under God" from the Pledge in hopes that the Justice Department under Barack Obama will agree with them that it is unconstitutional. We must be ready to defend "under God" in the Pledge. The Religious Freedom Coalition has a new social networking site to form groups to defend "under God" at www.pledgeundergod.com. Please register to help at that site!

CONGRESSMEN HOLD PRO-LIFE VIGIL - The night before the March for Life, conservative congressmen led by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) using a Special Order in the House, held a vigil for those lost to abortion. This floor time, made available by Republican Conference Chair Mike Pence, was used by pro-life Members of Congress to remember the tragedy of Roe v. Wade and discuss the right to life. You can watch the various speakers including Virginia Foxx (R-NC) Bob Latta (R-OH) and Paul Broun (R-GA) at this link.

CULTURE AND RELIGION
INAUGURAL "PIG SEX" CANCELED - Thanks to your calls and e-mails this disgusting event was canceled. As part of their celebration in helping to elect Barack Obama, homosexuals planned to hold a "pig sex" event at the Doubletree Hotel here in Washington, DC. The hotel is owned and operated by the Hilton Hotel Corporation. The acts and conduct that is advertised by gays at their Internet site cannot be reproduced here, but I can say that the activities make those in Biblical Sodom look mild in comparison. The events were actually planned for conference rooms with portable toilets set up to "play in." The hotel staff would have been expected to clean this all up. Hilton Hotels received so many calls from concerned citizens who read this and other conservative journals that they were forced to cancel the event. Homosexuals at their Internet sites blamed "right wing Christian groups" for causing the cancellation of their "pig sex" event. They got that right!

POODLE ATTACKS FRENCH PRESIDENT - The liberals who pushed Barack Obama into office are internationalists who have as a goal making America more like France, where people are put into jail for criticizing Islam or homosexuals. Liberals hate free speech, but think dogs should have the same rights as people. What could be more French than the former president of France being attacked by his wife's "chronically depressed" French poodle. You have to read this story!

NEW CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - The all new January 23, 2009 Chairman's Report is now available to read in PDF format. This issue contains more information about our new social networking sites - one site for "under God" in the Pledge, and another site to help persecuted Iraqi Christians. Print out and distribute to your Sunday School class. Click here to view PDF

CONSERVATIVE WARRIOR LOST
JIM BOULET DIES - Conservatism and the social conservative movement lost another great warrior this month. Jim Boulet, Jr, the executive director of English First died Friday, January 16th after a short battle with cancer. Jim worked are many more projects that keeping English as the official language of this nation. A strong social conservative and elder in his church we worked on pro-life and pro-families issues as well. He was a graduate of Cornell University and a prolific writer. A Google search of his name turns up thousands of stories. He was also my friend and his passing saddens my heart although I know his pain has passed and he is in the hands of our Lord. Please join me in praying for Jim's family. Jim's official bio.

INTERNATIONAL
PERSECUTED IRAQI CHRISTIANS - The RFC is moving forward in making arrangements for important meetings about Iraqi Christian persecution. Set for the first week of February, we will bring together congressmen and Senators, to discuss issues with the heads of ministries engaged in helping Iraqi Christian refugees. We are at the stage of trying to get the involvement of the new Hillary Clinton State Department. Please pray we can bring attention to and shine light on this crisis. if you need a reminder of the Iraqi Christians' situation, please watch the testimony video of those who have lived through the persecution.
