Week Ending June 13, 2008 - Washington, DC The Virginia school that teaches it is OK to kill non-Muslims gets permission to continue operating / USCIRF condemns Saudi text books that teach hatred and violence / Obama's "clean" campaign and McCain's puke colored campaign colors / China hacks Capitol Hill computers / Dems seek higher gas prices / Nutty Ninth judge operated porn site / Congressman Trent Franks and more on Iraqi Christian refugees. THE PRESIDENT OBAMA'S CLEAN CAMPAIGN- According to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, everything is either black or white, just all good or all bad. Rich people are all bad. The energy companies, particularly Exxon, are bad. The financial companies that loan money to people to buy homes are also on his bad list, particularly Countrywide Financial. OOPS: His billionaire buddy George Soros is OK, and so are all the very rich Hollywood stars that shower him with money. His billionaire friend Jim Johnson, who received multi million dollar real estate loans from Countrywide, (yes, the company on Obama's bad list.) is on his good list. So much is Johnson on the good list that Obama picked him to help find a vice presidential running mate. After intense public criticism for his relationship with Countrywide, Johnson quit the Obama VP search committee. Obama said he was not going to check on the mortgage relationships of those associated with his campaign. Hmmm.Read more MCCAIN'S GREEN PUKE BACKGROUND - GOP contender John McCain will not accept the advice of anyone outside of paid K Street advisers. When many of us in Washington said the ugly colored green background that was used at his events looked horrible, his campaign shrugged it off. Meanwhile the Obama camp uses red, white and blue. After newscasters made jokes about the puke colored background it was finally changed. McCain desperately needs to dump the K Street guys and get some people near him who eat at Chick-fil-A instead of Morton's Steak House. Read William Kristol's Remarks BUSH'S SAUDI BUDDIES HATE JEWS HERE TOO - The Saudi government operates a school in Northern Virginia, the Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA). One of its graduates is in prison for conspiracy to assassinate President Bush. The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom has for years demanded copies of the textbooks used in this school. The school refused, but did give copies to the State Department. Secretary Condoleeza Rice refused to hand them over to the USCIRF, and for good reason. Through congressional sources the USCIF recently obtained some of the textbooks. The books promote Jihad as well as the confiscation of property of non-Muslims, and violence toward all Infidels. The White House and State Department continue to stand by the Saudi Royalty who operate the most repressive government in the world today. Read the USCIRF news release. THE CONGRESS CHINA HACKS CONGRESSIONAL COMPUTERS The Religious Freedom Coalition does not send any e-mail or electronic document to a member of Congress that contains the names or locations of those persecuted for their religious beliefs. The House and Senate computers are often hacked by Chinese and other rights violators to obtain the information in order to hunt down or arrest dissidents. Chinese intelligence agents then transfer the information to other rights violators including North Korea and the Sudan. It is our advice not to send anything to a congressman or Senator of a sensitive nature regarding human rights issues. Congressmen Frank Wolfe and Chris Smith revealed hacking of their computers this past week. Read more DEMS DEMAND HIGHER GAS PRICE - Democrats failed to pass the "cap and trade" legislation last week that would raise the price of gasoline by 56 cents per gallon. So this week they tried to pass a "windfall profit" tax on energy companies. The tax would of course be passed on to consumers, thus raising gasoline prices even more. Let us get honest: the Democrats want to price gasoline out of the reach of the average American. Most of the Democrats' money comes from Hollywood elites and liberal billionaires who believe in the "green religion." They want all cars parked, except their own limos, to "protect the planet." The masses of people (That would be you and me) can then be forced to live in apartment clusters and use mass transportation. The "green religion" sees individual home ownership as destructive to the environment. It is also more difficult to control people who live in individual homes and have private transportation. CONGRESS AND THE PRICE OF GAS - When the Democrats took control of the House and Senate in January of 2006 the average price of gas nationally was $2.33 per gallon. The current average per gallon is now $4.06. During less than two years in power Senator Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have helped drive up the cost of gas almost $2.00 a gallon. How? The traders and speculators know that with the Democrats in control there will be no drilling for new oil, no nuclear plants built and no gas refineries expanded. With out those options the speculators know they can push prices up.Thank you Harry and Nancy for doubling the price of gas. IT'S CALLED THE NUTTY NINTH BECAUSE? - One of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals judges has stopped a pornography trial he was presiding over after it was discovered that he had himself placed raunchy sexual photos up at a personal website he runs. Virtually all of the judges on the Nutty Ninth are far left wing loons who think saying "under God" should be banned but that saying the F word in public is protected speech. This is the same court that any day will render a ruling on "under God" being constitutional in the Pledge to our flag. Judge Alex Kozinski was appointed by President Reagan, but apparently has been moved to the dark side by other members of the Nutty Ninth. Read more. Read Chairman's Report INTERNATIONAL THE HONORABLE TRENT FRANKS - On Thursday, June 12th the 6th annual Religious Liberty Dinner was held in Washington, DC. My good friend, Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) was the key note speaker. My wife Nancy and I were present at the event at which Congressman Franks received an award for his efforts on behalf of religious liberty. He is the co-chair of the newly formed Congressional Religious Freedom Task Force. STATE DEPARTMENT GIVES BLESSING TO TEACHING RELIGIOUS HATRED - Above I mentioned that the USCIRF condemned the text books used by Islamic Saudi Academy in Virginia. The K - 12 school is funded by the Saudi government. As mentioned State has refused to cooperate with the USCIRF's investigation of text books that teach hatred and sanction murder of non-Muslims. The day after the USCIRF released its report the State Department gave its blessing to the continued operation of the Islamic Saudi Schools saying it had "assurances" that the text books would be "corrected." There is nothing said by a Saudi official that can be trusted. This is the world's most repressive and despotic government and Secretary Rice believes they are the best friends America has. IRAQI CHRISTIANS - Hope is all but lost the the United States government will do the right thing by the hundreds of thousands of Christians who have been persecuted and forced from their homes in Iraq. Our government still slams the door of our embassies in the face of Christian refugees and tells them to go beg for food and shelter from the United Nations.
